after the 3th date usually, if things go well. most of them reacted perfectly well, the usual response is along the lines of "i had you figured for a nerd".

my idea is that if a girl went to 3 dates with you, geeky hobbies is not what's going to break it. and if it is, then you know to split early.

My wife and I are quite the otaku.

I've never hidden from my nerdy side. I use to yell falcon punch in kung fu classes when I was 16. I once attempted to falcon punch the sifu,but I got shut down with an open palm to the forehead.

My point here(round about as it is) everyone I know knows I love manga,anime,martial arts ect..
