Wow. I typed a really long, thorough post and then it glitched out when I tried to submit it :shy: I am so sorry :/

However, you can message me here (or even on Skype) if you ever want to go in-depth about the cause(s) your depression and perhaps figure out how to overcome it :)

I don't really find much helps when I'm depressed because the depression makes me not want to do anything or talk to anyone. Just got to ride it out till it's over.

Luckily though it doesn't linger too long when it hits me and I've never not been able to get out of it.

The best treatment is escapism but the cure is facing it. The source of your depression may be traced somewhere in your life. Perhaps it's your job, your nagging wife, the stupid friend who always makes things worse for you, find the source and eliminate it with no mercy. And while you're at it, stop taking life so seriously, sometimes you just gotta laugh at things.

I completely disagree with the people saying "just find something to keep you occupied". It does not work like that in the slightest. I've been on and off depressed for a variety of reasons since about late 2009, early 2010. It's not a typical illness where you can just cure it with medicine. There's always a root to the problem. Romance, family loss, friendship problems? It could be anything. I've tried everything to be brutally honest. I tried trying to go to the gym to channel all my stress and frustration into working out. Video games, isolating myself. The best thing I've ever done that actually seems to work it talking to people close to me. Not just anyone. People who genuinely care about you. Make sure you can open up to them personally and just let them know everything that is bothering you. I actually talked with a friend of mine about this a few days ago. Do not let all of your stress and frustration stay bottled up inside of you. Let it out so you can move on from it. If you keep it in there too long, it's going to negatively affect your life and the lives of people around you.

I can probably understand why you're depressed, just look at your name and avatar.

Not sure what relevance that has to anything in this thread. I've been inactive and haven't changed the avatar. Never said I was currently depressed, and there is nothing wrong with my name. Far better than "Kagetora".

I see, I assume you were depressed before you left then. Your avatar is dark as hell and your name is woo woo. I don't need to be a doctor for know that you're depressed. How you do anything is how you do everything, that's a good quote I heard.
Your witty attempts to rile someone up on a forum are cute, but boring.
Just making an observation, I don't care what you think.

Feeling is mutual. Your observation skills are severely lacking.
