Naruto like us all, know 2 vs 1 is unfair, and he looked down upon it. Flash forward a few years - in order to fight Sasuke, Naruto knew he absolutely couldn't win one on one, and despite previously being so quick to call out Kankuro, he himself choose to fight 2 Vs 1.
