Does anyone else think this could be a reference of Gurren Lagann?

It may just be a coincidence or me just over thinking it but for some odd reason the new Intel Devil's Canyon symbol looks slightly like the Dai Gurren symbol, take a look:

To me, the Similarities are that they are both flaming skulls and the Devil's Canyon symbol seems to be wearing sun glasses.
