Funny you mention attack on titan, when it's animation was always criticized for having too many stills, and again AoT is a 2 cour series, Naruto is 400+, that airs all around the year, not just a specific season. HxH has a lot less episodes than Naruto. One Piece animation is shit, it's mostly slidshows. I'm pretty sure most people can agree that Naruto animation is better than FT.

You are just remembering the average animation of the majority of episodes, and forgetting the great animation of fights like Killer Bee vs Sasuke, Madara vs the Shinobi alliance, Danzo vs Sasuke, Episode 345, The shinobi alliance jutsu, Hidan and Kakazu vs Kakashi and Team Asuma, Deidera vs Sasuke etc.

When they put their best animators on the important fights, the studio makes amazing and smooth animation better than the majority of other shounen.
