Does anyone else enjoy naruto more when they are not discussing with the fanbase?

For me that's the case. I enjoy a lot of things in Naruto that most people hate on here:
-I like Sakura
-I'm glad Obito is Tobi and he is one of my favourite characters and his motives go way beyond that of just Rin.
-I enjoy the flashbacks
-I like the talking in fights. Let's face it, if it was just fight fight fight it would get boring.
-I understand the Uchiha and don't just label them as 'emo'

Every time I look on the fanbase there are always these quite lack luster debates and who would 'solo' who. Don't get me wrong I like the fanbase and their theories but I just prefer the series when im not debating with them.
Does anyone else feel like this?

Somewhat but I come here to look for threads I may agree with or have a fun argument about.

1. I don't mind Sakura but she's definitely not my favorite.
2. Obito's true identity wasn't the biggest surprise, even though I was wrong.
3. Some flashbacks are good and necessary. We do need to know why certain characters think the way they do.
4. Some talking is necessary. Sometimes it's too much. But most of the time we learn interesting things about the characters involved.
5. Most of the kids who call the Uchiha "emo" are just trying to sound cool/funny. A lot of people call them "emo" and most are just hopping onto the bandwagon. It's the same people who call Sasuke, "Sasugay". It's really not funny nor entertaining nor do you look cool.

I agree with you 100%. I usually only talk to my friends about Naruto because we agree on most things and enjoy the series in its entirety.

Don't mind Sakura. I thought Tobi being Obito was perfect. I think the Uchiha are realistic and not "emo" or "cry babies". I don't overrate or underrate characters as much. It alters my "favourite character". I came into NB liking Tobi, Team Guy and Itachi but slowly evolved to dislike Itachi a bit along with Minato and Hashirama. I thought Hiruzen was stronger than Hashirama (Before Flash-Backs) but when looking around NB (Guest at the time) I was changed.

Yeah. I took a break from NB for a couple months and forgot about all the character hype and fanboyism and enjoyed it that much more.

Then I came back and started to hate characters again lol
