Oh it is definitely scripted, it's all about the money.

I hate how people who don't fight like to watch other people fight. How can you watch something you don't understand.Seems shallow to me.
But anyways, I don't see what's so special about mcgreggor that would garuntee him a chance to win.If he wins, it'd certainly cause a lot of uproar.

How so? Couldn't the same be said for people who watch any other sport that don't play in that case?
watching people beat each other up for entertainment or beating each other up for money...is shallow.period.
And you can't compare boxing or kick boxing to sports like b-ball and football, since the goal of the sport is NOT TO HURT EACH OTHER. I can't stand when people make unnecessary comparisons. The fact that you don't SEE the point, says it all.All of you are so shallow, and none of you fight, either. Totally don't think straight.
If you've never played a sport, then what about it interests you?Your imagination. And some of you are just followers, just because you see others sensationalizing it, then you wanna follow behind it and suddenly become interested in it.
You don't fight, but you watch boxing, then you're a materialistic hypocrite.Goes for any sport.
Nice high horse, your baseless assumptions on literally everyone here just make you seem silly, the thread wasn't really intended for someones sad soapbox rant tbh
Didn't even care to watch. The outcome was pretty obvious. It's just a cash grab for the both of them. If this was MMA vs Boxing, then I would have actually paid to see that.
Men like fighting, it's just how it is. Also, I'm sure these people fighting like it too and not to mention the money that comes with it. I guess fighting isn't worth the long term brain damage but we're here in this world to live our lives and some people feel it's worth it.watching people beat each other up for entertainment or beating each other up for money...is shallow.period.

I didn't mean it makes a man but men (as in males) are attracted to fighting. I agree with all that worthlessness but I don't see why fighting and other sports can't be genuinely entertaining to people...Fighting doesn't make you a man...it's a cover up.And it's not how it is, because you've made a generalization. What world are you living in?The early 1950s? Who says that anymore?
Yes, worthless shallow people love to make money off of sports.Cause it pays big.You got money, but you're still worthless cause you do worthless things with your own body. You can buy a big house, put on expensive clothes....but worthless is simply worthless. ALL as long as you got money...to house and embroider WORTHLESS VESSEL.A facade, to be exact.
Ahhh, to be rich but worthless...the american dream.A dream is a dream, of course...not reality.
most men just box for credit and recognition, anyways. And other validation issues.
Really just the result of "not feeling good enough"...so it's quite the opposite of "being a man".When I see these boxers, i see a bunch of people who just don't "get it", and what they're doing really says about them.Boxing entails the "opposite" of feeling tough or feeling like a man. This old fashioned view that if you box or watch boxing your more tough.Such an insult.
Edit: If you gotta prove it, the security is not really there. And you generalize once again and say "men are attracted to fighting"...are you living in the 1950s? But, I bet if HALF of you got snuffed in the face, you wouldn't do anything about it. You see the excitement of fighting, but you don't understand the story.Just pure ignorance.
I don't even understand the point of your comments? You're lashing out at people enjoying fighting matches and presume that no one knows about fighting, and say that only people who actually fight should be the ones watching it? Why do you care?
What makes you the arbiter of what other people like to watch?
