Does anybody know exactly what connection is trying to be made here??

I mean... the parralels are going all over the place. Naruto is more like Hashirama in personality, but Madara is more like him in thought process and resolve. But.. what room does that leave for Sasuke? Are they trying to make both Hashirama AND Madara like Naruto and leaving out Sasuke in his own catagory?

Explain this to me if you get it, because I don't.

that sounds about right....sasuke used to be fun and friendlly kinda like trunks and goten...
then he had to be strong for different reasons like jin kazama for revenge for his dead

Are you crazy? This is Naruto we're talking about, if Naruto rather eats a rabbit instead of a steak, then that's a parallel to something, and will undoubtedly show up in a flashback.

i already thought about that..and they both look like madara(kinda)
and Madara tried to use nagato for rinnegan...and now he will try to use Sasuke..
what Hashirama is saying will make Sasuke really care for madara now..
and Hashirama as well..

I think the connection here is that hashirama and madara both wanted peace, like naruto and nagato both wanted peace. Just so happens that the piece that hashi/naruto wants isn't the same peace madara/nagato wanted.

Nagato didn't want revenge, what? Sasuke and nagato are polar opposites. Nagato took on yahiko's will and resolve, which was to bring peace to the world. Sasuke did the exact opposite, he didn't follow in itachi's footsteps, he wants revenge on the leaf for what they did to his brother.

nagato didnt want revenge, he wanted to protect yahikop and konan...
when sasuke fought gaara, he wanted to protect naruto and sakura...
he vowed the same as kakashi to never let his friends be hurt or die

So you're Nagato seeing his parents killed by leaf ninjas didn't make him hate the leaf... OK. Jaraiya taught him to fight, never got him to forgive the leaf. Pain attacking and completely destroying the leaf had a little more motivation besides just trying to get the 9 tails. That fight was personal.
