[Discussion] Does annyone even enjoy the manga?

yea but I just can't imagine One Piece with different kind of ost
In that aspect madhouse is really really far behind on Toei (toei soundtracks can really cover ever emotional scene to a satisfying degree, Madhouse lacks that)
also the VA's lol

Wow, how did I forget about the VA's. That's like the only best part of the OP anime. I will edit that in my dream post . I'm sure madhouse can improve upon Toei OP OST's. I'm sure we would get another One Piece adaptation after this one is done. XD In like another 20 years.

Madhouse did a very good job with OST's for HxH so I can't see why they can't do the same for OP. It would be hard though to top OST's like the very strongest but it's possible. We'll finally be getting OP endings. We haven't had those since like enies lobby or something LOOL.

Madhouse did a very good job with OST's for HxH so I can't see why they can't do the same for OP. It would be hard though to top OST's like the very strongest but it's possible. We'll finally be getting OP endings. We haven't had those since like enies lobby or something LOOL.

Tbh if all the episodes of Op are re-edited (and filler cut) by One Pace I'll be more than satisfied

the HxH anime isn't perfect either (this coming from a big HxH fan), me personally i think OP has better VAs, OSTs and for my taste a much better color pallet

Yeah I remember you telling me about One Pace. That sure does fix the pacing issue in a way but not that many people know of One Pace. What about the animation issues at times? Are those scenes edited out? OP for sure has better VA's. Toei can easily fix this pacing issue if they go on a small filler arc + cover story arc. It kinda bothers me that they're fully aware of how poorly paced the episodes are & do nothing about it. I understand the OP anime gets a lot of views regardless of how bad the ep. is but it's kinda lame. Even if they try to fix it, they only go on a small filler arc.

When i try to rethink about it, perhaps it's due to Toei has that contract rolling on with Fuji TV hence they couldn't occasionally halt the eps. Also, Toei may have their own principle of not making any filler arc in the middle of a canon arc. Except the short special eps such as the New Year theme (Luffy as Okappiki), random RP by Strawhats with mini story etc we've seen before. Well...Idk.

Yeah but a cover story arc isn't really filler. I mean after the Dressrosa arc.

Well we don't know that. They never had a series like that before. It's still possible, even though it's unlikely.

OP's music isn't that great really. The only good ones are:

- The very strongest
- Luffys fierce attack
- Overtaken

and maybe pirate 2...

I just found an OST (made by Madhouse) that gives a adventurous feeling. It would fit well with OP.

Yeah that OST is better than the one I posted but that's not the point. I'm saying that Madhouse can create an adventurous OST.

Finally someone!! I thought I was the only one on the base who preferred the anime

For me One piece anime >> One piece manga. I really like the music and for me one piece music is as epic as the series itself. And the lack of background music makes the manga experience less enjoyable for me.

But I still love the art style in the manga. There is so much happening in those 15 pages.

I prefer the manga, but i agree there are some scenes in the anime that are better depicted. I enjoyed the marineford arc better in the anime than in the manga for example. It depends on arc, but relatively the pacing is pretty good

Manga doesn't suffer from crappy pacing, sloppy animation or filler, so of course it's enjoyable.

I don't like to read manga in general, I'm just anime type person, I guess. Lol

But in case of OP, manga is just so good. I am watching anime too but I enjoy manga much more tbh.
