That's the only way I can figure it. An what was so special about Nagato's Rinnegan that Madara gave to him?

It has the power to bring people back to life and Madara didnt give anything to Nagato he is a liar.

Madara didnt give the Rinnegan to Nagato (pain) he was lieing and Rinnegan can do a lot of thing that the sharingan ^^

i think he did give it to nagato and he did it because nagato was probably the best canidate for it since he has extremly powerfull chakra from being uzimaki. what's special about his rinnegan is then he can use both the sharingan and the rinnegan making him sronger. he most likely giveing it to him the same way that nagato did and nagato probably didn't have all those sharingans like madara.
