[Discussion] Do you watch the anime?

I just caught up to it and my god is it dragging.
Like I think they do half a chapter per episode with some random filler in it :/

I mean if I didnt know what is suppoused to happen I would probably enjoy it but just looking at random peoples reactions for a minute cause Luffy knocked someone out is annoying.Same with that 5 minute Fujitora attack pause...

This arc will have 40 more episodes then it should if they continue like this.
How many or you actually wath the anime and If so how do you feel about the pacing?
I actually know there are some anime only fans here so how do you guys feel about it since you dont know whats around the corner?

Last week episode was fine since it had actual content/info. but the Fujitora episode was just meh.

go watch One Pace, they just released Dressrosa Episode 1 and they packed 3 episodes into 1 slightly longer one, they only leave the canon stuff and improve the pacing, they improved (and shortened) the Fujitora scene also

lol a friend of mine also told me this about one piece being one entire filler arc hahahaha.

OT:but oh well... since i don't remember everything that happened in the manga , i'm cool with it , i mean... it's better than 6 months of fillers and 6 months of cannon .

I disagree.
One Piece fillers can be good at times,especially now when they have so many characters at disposal.
It could be a whole new experience and then when they end they can create good cannon episodes with no filler stuff

Yes I do but only when there is at least 100episodes from when I left it so I get to power and all nighter(s) thru them, its more fun that way so I dont mind the pacing that much/at all, only tym I remember jamming the FF button on me remote was during Jimbei's boring Fishertiger story(10 or so wasted episodes).

The funny thing is I just got into One Piece and I loved the anime until I read the manga and then I realized how bad it is. I realized how necessary the filler arc in Naruto are. One Piece the anime is only about 30 chapter behind the manga so to avoid it cathcing up to the manga they drag shit on. While in Naruto they have a lot of filler but the actual canon content has great pacing. The recent "I'm in Hell" episode covered 3 chapters. Punk Hazard was when I first realized how terrible the pacing in the anime is, so damn boring.

I've been saying all along that the big animes need to do 1 season a year like Attack on Titan, Magi, Kuroko's basketball, etc. This way they can focus on the quality of the animation and the pacing can be exactly the way the manga intended it to be. We don't need episodes of Naruto and One Piece every week of the year if it's just gonna be half-assed mediocre bullcrap.

yeah, i decided to stop watching the anime until the arc finishes, at least, if not maybe two arc.

The pacing is atrocious, hopefully they can deploy a similar tactic to other anime, regarding spacing with fillers

ep. 635 looks awesome from the preview. It just matters if it's content heavy or not, most scenes of punk hazard was running so it felt really slow placed.

I don't think the pacing is that awful tbh. I'd rather have 1 chapter be fleshed out over 1 episode rather than have 3 or more chapters mashed together in 1 episode.

I've heard so many people complain about Fujitora, this is for them, calm down crybabies. In the manga we got 2-3 panels of his attack, basically all we got was him saying he's gonna beat them up then a figurative blink of the eyes and they were in a hole in the ground. The manga showed nothing of Fujitora in that scene and the anime(as it is supposed to do) brought the scene to life.
