I would say no...and while I would love to find a way to assist the suffering North Koreans....far too many people will die if we choose war...we'd end up killing off the Korean people we are trying to save...and god knows what will happen if N. Korea starts launching Nukes practically on its own land just to kill American Soldiers.

The potential loss of life is staggeringly high...

Right.

Then the UN will put embargos against us EVERYWHERE and China is gonna flush our economy down the toilet.

1. UN would be on our side as the only way this is gonna happen is through an overt act of aggression on behalf of NK. After Iraq the US can't afford to invade a country on questionable intelligence.

2. China would be no part of this. They're economy depends on us too much. If anything they will be the ones that tell NK to shut their mouths as they've done before.

I'd love to see that happen. Nukes flying all over the world everything is burning people in billions are vanishing. What a fabulous day that would be. Can' wait..

Nukes will never be used.

Don't worry, they didn't capable of lanching a nuke yet.Our missile defence will destroy their missles before they fly to the sky.

I have more faith in their incompetence than in military equipment.

The U.S is involved in to many things at once, they have that thing going on in the middle east, and now some dum fak trying to nuke the u.s? I hope they are just bluffing and that the u.s. does not go to war with them, the economy is bad, the u.s gets done with one war to later be on another one? My answer is nope, cause of what i have stated and cause i dont want to be drafted, if that happens anyways.

The draft will never come back. We already have too many people in the army that don't want to be there. They are a drain on the government and its resources. That's the problem with the military budgeting. They keep the shitbags and fat boys in when they are just a waste of a paycheck when they should just cut them loose without benefits. The whole sequester is bullshit. Its the leadership that has failed to keep their promises to promote merit and weed out failure that costs us so much money. Nor does the military need to get any bigger. We have enough soldiers sitting around bored in garrison to route NK not to mention UN support, SK, Japan, and probably Australia hopping on the band wagon. Oh and UK. US and UK pretty much always roll out together.

North Korea has a maximum of 5 tactical yield nuclear weapons. 5 Hiroshimas (and that's giving them a lot of freebies).

But they -can't- be Hiroshima all over again for the pure and simple reason that they have no way to get the shittin' things off the ground. They cannot World War II rocket technology to work right. They might be able to fly a normal aircraft up... but it's getting swatted down by the South Koreans on a turkey shoot.

The biggest threat from North Korea comes from their subs in an area where ASW is notoriously difficult and the fact that they have some 3 million poor bastards tasked with being in their army who will be expected to charge across the border.

I'd have no issues going to South Korea for any reason. For starters - the South Koreans have this fight if it happens. For seconds - it's a complete ROFLSTOMP if the U.S. gets involved for any reason.

War would only give us more debt.
I do wan't North Korea to stop threatening us, since they clearly don't stand a chance.
They will get decimated if they ever try anything against us.

There's no reason to. North Korea is a barking dog with no bite. If they do bite, then they'll be eliminated. There won't be a war I don't think.

We don't need another repeat of the korean war were we just end up at a stale mate again. Although it probably would help the economy

Hell no! I've been trough that kind of liberation and I don't wish it on anyone. In the end "Every country has the government it deserves." as Joseph de Maistre once wrote.

Yes,how will these people be free?

What an anti-democratic way! Didn't you just mock the North Korea for not being democratic? Lols.
Right! Obviously war is the only way to liberate them. It kills tons of people and helps make money for you all at the same time. Beautiful! Isn't it?
