I'm a bit torn on this for one main reason.

It's South Korea's show. North Korea represents little practical threat to the U.S. or its territories. Being allies of South Korea - and given the history of the Korean continent (always being walked through by China and Japan - kind of like Poland is to Germany and France) - there's no reason for us to be the ones to beat the war drums.

However, if South Korea says: "Let's **** that snake up!" - then I'm in.

As for concerns of Korea's nuclear capability.... they've got warheads and no missiles to launch them (oh... they have a developmental system with a range of maybe 2,000 nautical miles... so they can hit Japan with a fraction of the power of what we hit Hiroshima and Nagasaki with...).

Actually ... thinking about that for a minute... I can only imagine the Japanese reaction after such a thing... the only country to have nuclear weapons used against it through the multiple times it's happened in human history.

I know I shouldn't be finding humor in that idea - but I am.
