We've outcasted and teared down every freaking living thing in our path as we build more, more and more malls, markets, shops and stores for needless mass consumption. Instead of having only a few stores that cover our needs and offer some toys, we have an incredible, ginormous amount of them. The mentioned shops all compete with one another because we don’t share or look out for our neighbour. Instead, it's our culture to have more and be better than the rest. Idiotic.

We got banks who we give our hard earned money to for storage because they have brainwashed us tp believe that that is what we should do even when that same banks give possession of our own money away. Then they make more money off of our money and charge us the service fees for everything they do with our money, even though they already profit from it. They hand out financial information to customers that is geared towards making the bank money with very little regard for the financial well being of the customer looking for advice.
Since we have associated prestige and well being with banks, we blindly take that advice and walk away.

We got food stores which barely even sell food anymore. Other than 1 or two isles that offer it, most of which is sprayed with pesticides, the rest of the store offers products that are fake, filled with chemicals and processed. To put it simply; around 95% of what's offered at the store should never be consumed by a human being, because those products devastate our organisms. Well, at least lately the organic selection is increasing in stores as more and more people are waking up to the truth of what I just rambled about above.

Do you find street lights tragically methaporical? I do. They remind me of how much we truly simulate sheep. We've constructed up some metal structures with electrical signals and colors. These signals tell us when to stop and when to go because there are so many of us in a neverending rush, trying to get to where we need to be in a zombie state that we can’t pay attention to anything effectively. We dressed regular sheep in dark uniforms and fear inducing weapons so they make sure we obey these color changing structures. If we don't; we are punished and have to pay money to the government in order to pay the salaries of that dark uniformed sheep. These uniformed regular sheep are no more powerful than anyone of us except for when they have this uniform on.

We've drawn invisible borders all around the world and erected houses and apartements on them just so we can buy a little plot of land off of those 1 measly percent of people who own everything and so we have a place to live. Then they charge us every single year we live on this land in the form of a tax. So who the fck said that they have a right to own a land we were all born on in the first place? They did.

The car I'm driving was not bought from a dealer but from another person who owned and drove it for several years. The government still found a way to make money by taxing the purchase of the car from another person. Why?… Why not? They can. We allow them. After buying the car, one must get an emissions test which has been proven to be useless in determining the health of the car's emissions. Regardless of this initial money grab for the government, afterwards we have a license plate registration which again is more money, every single godamn year. The fuel that runs our cars is very expensive and the variations of the prices are controlled, as opposed to the public belief that it's a factor of the “economy.” Lol. This is ofcourse regardless of the fact that for years, cars that can run 20-30 times longer on this fuel, or on water or on battery exist.
But, we still drive cars that run on this environmental hazard because that's what's profitable to the big corporations that own everything. The patents for all these alternative fuels were bought by the oil companies we depend on or the inventors have been killed for silence.

The people that govern on have done an unbelievable job in creating a world and system where we obey and hold up everything that they implement with little to no question. There is no one to blame but ourselves. We complain everyday about traffic, our jobs, money, food, our lack of time etc. But then turn around and praise our “freedom,” which clearly does not exist. The only thing holding up this handful of people, who have manipulated all of this and are pushing for complete control in years to come, is us! We have the numbers over them and can stop playing their game at anytime. So why not start making new choices? If not now, when?

It's understandable that we might have fear of what will happen if we step outside of this box. This is mainly due to conditioning we all have that states this is how things need to be and anything else is just anarchy and chaotic. No one would work if things were different. People would kill each other, we are animals! We need to be tamed! It might even be happening now: “Wait a minute! That’s not what I was fed in school, on the news and from all other authority figures in this world!” That is precisely where we have all learned this from and each institution or structure mentioned has been manipulated in such a way to make people think this way.

But then we take it to the next level. There are those who see these truths about our world and express it in order to help others see it so we can make change. We quickly cast out and make fun of others who see this because that is what we are taught to do to them. Why? The answer is really simple and can be expressed in one word, ego. We all walk around with a false sense of self in our consciousness that often has complete control over us without us even knowing it. We essentially have been tricked into thinking we are something we are not. We walk around thinking we are this genetic space suit and our thoughts and feelings are who we are. The truth is, we are infinite consciousness living out an experience and the observer state who sees things neutrally and lovingly is who we truly are. Until we become aware that we are not our thoughts, we don’t often get easily in touch with the true aspect of who we are.

The purpose of this objective observation is to simply encourage you all to take a step back and look at what the fck are we doing here. Is this really what we want? Don’t immediately think about what it needs to look like next, instead just ask yourself if this is truly what you want. Once we know the answer to that, we can figure out how to move forward. Many of us are stricken with the desire to discover more about who we are and how we can free ourselves from our thoughts. This feeling is coming from a desire deep within that realizes that there's more to life, there's more to the mundane repetition of doing the same thing over and over again. Take that leap, take a chance, follow that crazy idea that states that maybe it's time to learn more about yourself, you’ll be surprised at what you uncover.

What about you? Do you see the state of the world as it truly is? Do you view the world objectively? Differently? If so what is your view? Discuss, debate.[/I]

Stopped reading at the street light bit. You gotta stop. "These things that keep people from killing each other at certain sections of the road are bad." This is trying too hard to be deep. "Our food is laced with chemicals." What a BRAND NEW observation. You're gonna change the world my man.

An objective view would be factual and free of personal opinion. What you have here is a subjective view.

I don't agree on most of your points. Where you see control and manipulation, I see structure. Case in point, your opinion on traffic lights.
The view on traffic lights was a metaphore. Objectivity is defined as the power to see things (in this case the state of the world), as they really are. And that's how things are.
Now while I am genuinely sorry that you can't see trough that; you are an individual that's entitled to his own opinion and I respect that.

You take life way to seriously, you need to relax and enjoy it, it's too short. Yeah it isn't fair or perfect but nothing in life is perfect. And I'm sure as hell some starving kid in a 3rd world country would love him some 'fake cheese' on some 'fake cracker'. If you can't stand the way the world is then go do something about it, be innovative and figure out how you want things to change instead of asking us how we can change things on an anime forum.

Firstly, you do not know squat about me.
Secondly, I enjoy life in more ways you can possibly imagine.
Thirdly why do you people transfer the attention to me instead of laying out your view or discussing mine. Pretty childish I must say.
Lastly, the nature of this section."General Discussion" allows me to open this kind of threads, while you can easily sustain yourself from commenting or even opening this thread.

It seems that the section is doomed to same old shallow, washed up and superficial discussion threads. Why not spice it up?

Objectivity is defined as the power to see things (in this case the state of the world), as they really are. And that's how things are.
Using similar wording to your definition, objectivity would be the power to see things without bias or personal interpretation. If you believe that your specific view of the world is objective then you believe that your view is almost an absolute truth.

The view on traffic lights was a metaphore.
I am aware that you were using them to liken us to sheep. I just didn't feel like it fit. Sheep are often controlled for the sole gain of the farmer, us obeying traffic lights not so much.

Now while I am genuinely sorry that you can't see trough that; you are an individual that's entitled to his own opinion and I respect that.
And you're entitled to your own opinion, even if you do word it in such a backhanded way.

Firstly, you do not know squat about me.
According to things you type yourself here, I know you take shit way to literal and serious and blow things out of proportion with majority of the stuff you spam here.
Secondly, I enjoy life in more ways you can possibly imagine.
Sure Jan.
Thirdly why do you people transfer the attention to me instead of laying out your view or discussing mine. Pretty childish I must say.
My views on this topic? I don't take shit as serious and as deep as you on things like process food: and that rediculous metaphor with street lights. The world is a fckd up place move on and deal with it.
Lastly, the nature of this section."General Discussion" allows me to open this kind of threads, while you can easily sustain yourself from commenting or even opening this thread.

Yes post things telling us we already know about how the world ain't pretty and ask us how we feel about it and what're we going to do all the while you do nothing yourself about it amiright? :bdpf:

;) . .

I would love if you guys would follow the nature of this thread and lay out your views of the world instead of continuing this nonsensical spam fest while needlessly bashing my view for a sake of a slight ego boost.

That's one reason why I see humans in general as cancer of the planet.
Instead of living with each other in harmony and kindness, instead of helping each other.. our race sees life as one big competition. These people were unable to let go of natural instinct.

Nature and evolution work as competitions, but we humans are not bound to that. We are no longer restricted by natural law like all the other creatures that roam on this once so beautiful planet. Our brain is capable of going further, but only the minority can actually use that capacity.

Seeing the world objectively isn't possible. Not for humans. Experiences and lifestyles dictate that, and one's "objective" view may be different to another's. And even if we were able to see the world objectively, what would we see it as? A planet which humans live on? That's about as objective as it gets. After that, people can paint their own colours on it. That's where objectivity branches off into subjectivity.

I'm in life to have fun. There are shitty things, sure, all the time. It can ruin people. But the point in this limited time we have is to make the fullest use of it. In my eyes, that's enjoying yourself. Which is why I'll never aspire to have a job that pays me a shitton at the expense of happiness. If you enjoy life so much, then why is it that you concentrate on all these issues that will only serve to get in the way of it? It isn't wrong to stop caring for even a little while and just kick back. It won't hurt you, or anyone else, to ignore all that's wrong in the world and focus on everything that is right. Even if only for a short period of time, and with not much to see. A little word of advice for you. It's cryptic, but I'm sure you can figure it out.

If you always have your eyes to the ground, you'll never see the sky.

You have to look at life from more angles.
If you always look at the sky, you'll trip and fall. And you also won't see the beauties on the ground.
