Everyone underrate they because they are not offensive ninja, but they are ninjas that alone can heal a entire battalion of TEN THOUSAND NINJAS, can you measure how useful a ninja like this is in a War? A ninja like this makes the difference between win and lose a war, mainly if it is a normal war (not full of bijus and giant freaks).

They both are extremely high level ninjas, in the same level of efficiency in a war that Oonoki, Muu or the third Raikage have, probably even more, but they are support ninjas.

Depend of your top 20, in a War they are much more important than Itachi would be, for exemple.

Itachi would run out of chakra before make 500 kills.

Tsunade and Sakura can heal ten thousand ninjas to go fight and make a lot more kills.

yeah, people forget that the power of a ninja doesn't only take into account their 1 vs 1 capabilities, but also their support abilities.

Madara pretty much said that if tsunade died, the gokage would be screwed and the only reason they lasted so long against him was due to her healing them.

When sakura healed the entire alliance with her byakugou, she was implied to have been pulling as much weight as KCM Naruto and EMS Sasuke during the alliance's fight against the juubi.

No, I'm talking about the exactly moment in the anime and thinking in both in a context of a regular War (not that war that have only one enemy).

If I would the commander, I would prefer a Ninja healing 10.000 ninjas that a Guy with a legged Sussanoo...

I agree completely. I have a lot of respect for both characters because of this. Their power isn't really meant for fighting; they are medics before all else and they excel in that. Definitely two of the best support characters imo.
