I don't know , should we trust oro now ? .i think he is just pretending to be a good guy . Because is too good to be true , but maybe , he join forces with the good guy cause he doesnt want to be in a genjutsu ,no one wants to be in a infinite genjutsu . What do you guys think ? . First off I want to comment on what you said about not wanting to be in the genjutsu. He is already out... that is like a guy going to prison for murder and joining a christian choir when he gets because he doesnt want to go back... What he does when he gets out doesnt matter because Itachi is dead and he was the only person with the totsaku blade, so regardless him helping Sasuke was entirely his choice.
But I dont know what you mean by trust him... He still to my knowledge wants to destroy the village and remember that, he wants to destroy the village. He DOESNT want the village destroyed, he wants to destroy the village. Thats sort of the main thing about revenge, people that want revenge arent particularly fond of others getting there revenge for them.
With that said he still wants Sasuke's body, as he said before, but admitted to not being strong enough to get it at the time. Personally I think Orochimaru still has his best interests at heart, it is just right now his interests and konohas interests are the same. Which is what makes him such a great villian. He is willing to accept there help when they are willing to give it, and then when he gets a chance he will strike like the snake in the grass that he is, and they will have been fools for thinking he wouldnt have.
