I'm not all that sure. Seeing as how Madara has his powers you would think Madara > Hashirama, however Kabuto at one point mentioned that even with his enhancements Madara wasn't as strong as Hashirama. So I would think Hashirama > Madara, if not by much.

A valid question.....IF Madara truly can use the Rinnegan.....I say Madara is above him. And even then he has perfect Susanoo, Preta Path at least, and Mokuton.

If Edo Madara is good at using his Rinnegan, then probably he is above Hashirama.
