I'm not sure. I was positive he would make his appearance with the juubi's revival. But seeing as how i doubt the juubi will be revived AGAIN, It doesn't seem likely. But anything is possible.

Not only would that be epic, but that would actually emphasize at how BAD things have truly gotten at that point.

But in response to the question itself, it is possible we will. Possibly within the moons eye or something along those lines. I don't think we have seen the end of the Juubi either.

For those who are saying the Juubi won't come back...

It probably will. There needs to be a climax and the moons eye almost being completed needs to be it. That requires the Juubi to return. And Kishi said he would address the Juubi as one of the final plot points.

If he doesn't then the second panel of Naruto 629 (Pg. 7) was completely useless

The pieces are starting to fit indeed, and regarding to what someone said about the Juubi in the earlier chapter, yes, that sight of the full moon with the juubi was indefinitely a foreshadowing of things to come. This is not the end of the Juubi, in fact, I would like to know more of it's real body in the moon and such, and this may be a stretch, but what if the true problem isn't madara or the juubi? What if the sages evil son or something is somehow involved with the moons eye and such?

Madara isn't a problem in the context that he isn't evil, his actions are, but he wants peace, and has no qualms in killing to go for it, and as I said in another thread, he is searching for something, seeking answers, so what if the true problem is a character none of us have seen yet? Just a interesting thought there.

i was thinking if he were to make an appearance, he'd do it with the ten-tails revival. Unless new circumstances appear (I doubt it), I don't think he'll have any reason to show up unless it's just utterly random

I'm hoping we see him soon. I want to see what he actually looked like and see if Naruto really is his reincarnation. (I'm almost completely sure he is but I just want confirmation)

Everything that is at hand leads back to Rikudo. The Juubi, Maara's wrong ways of going about peace via the tablet Rikudo left with the chilling truth of the world, the bijuu, just everything. Rikudo most definitely has a warranted appearance to be made via the juubi or some other kind of event that may follow during or after the moons eye. Naruto is definitely the reincarnation, but there are others like Rikudo such as Minato and Jiryia, the old man that we saw recently as one of Shukakus' jinchurikiis, obito, Harashirama, Nagato Gaara, even Madara, overlooking that he sees the beasts as tools, all of them share the very same ideal of peace. So this will indefinitely be most interesting.
