I think he is an idiot, but he did manage to become president, so maybe I'm in the minority, Trump doesn't seem to know anything about anything, the reason he got elected seems to be cus he tricked people or something, like there was something attractive about him, something ideological or something, or he just said what people wanted to hear.
But he really seems like an idiot.

I know it's boring to talk about Trump but I wanna know.

I would not wanna be like him tbh even if it meant being president.

Yea, that's nice to hear I'm not alone, I'm not saying I'm 100 percent right, but that's how I feel. Even as a business man he doens't seem to be someone who works hard he just like has money and he spends them here and there. He even failed at his business a lot but somehow survived.

In result many of these people favoured more left with, socially oriented politics and left wing populists were able to take rule years in NA and Europe. But after recent wars in Middle East and North Africa, West, specially EU, faced huge migration crisis and, again, this gave opportunity for nationalpopulists and conservatives to take rule again in many places.

Trump is just showman who decided to take opportunity and play "classic, good ol' American value" game, where tons of working class, poorer background people fell for his populism and now will suffer result later.

I still don't understand fully how people voted for him, like I sort of get the nationalistic/anti immigration stuff.
But like I think there was something attractive about him that I don't understand, people who voted for him seems to have a hard time explaining why aswell.

But you make good points. It's tough to say if he was smart or not. I'm just looking at him from an outside perspective and it's like what will he be remembered as? Even if he won and he has lots of fans, like, won't he be more hated than loved? I guess at least he is famous that's always something.

I don't know much about what defines intelligence, I was thinking he isn't very decent, he doesn't seem to have the knowledge to like "behave".
If that makes sense.
And even if he makes some sort of politician, like he is cunning or whatever, he doesn't seem to know the basics or fit into that profession a lot.
I mean to some extent he fits perfectly but like...I don't know.

Global warming kinda makes me angry, like that he seems to think climate change is all about some luxury like we should have clean water or whatever he talks about and then it might as well be a hoax cus coal makes more money or whatever, that's being on the wrong side of history.

That's not how he won..... it did garner the attention of trolls and plenty of memes. He won strategically, he didn't waste his time on states that he knew he would lose and went after the swing States, which in the end after 8 years of the Obama administration people felt that they collectively were going nowhere so they bought in to Trump knowing Hillary would be a rehash of Obama. Trump used this to his advantage while Hillary remained cocky, hell look at the premature celebration she was ready to throw in New York only to be bested several hours later.. Have to give credit where it's due he had a great strategy with the odds stacked against him. Solid gameplay whether your with him or not (I'm with you) but this is strictly unbiased. Think that film Wolf of Wall Street, straight asshole of a man but smart enough to make you trade your quarter for his penny.
