Do you think the manga should have ended at chapter 699???

Lately there has been a lot of controversy regarding the pairings..and for good reason. A lot of people (including myself) also say that chapter 700 feels tacked on, what do you think??? Do you feel that kishi should have ended it at chapter 699???

Chapter 700 does nothing to the plot, so it doesn't matter. The pairings don't affect the story one bit, it only affects the people who care about pairings, the story itself was already a happy ending after the final battle.

I don't mind the epilogue, but I do feel like he shouldn't have ended it how he ended it. The ending itself felt rushed, didn't tie up a majority of the loose ends, and just felt unsatisfying.

Im not going to sit here and complain that the final fight between Naruto and Sasuke was "to short" and that I expected a 15 chapter epic final fight. But I do feel like the Kaguya fight could have been half as long, even cut from the manga entirely and instead used those chapters to give a fitting closer to the characters, the war, and the loose ends. [and if by doing so there just happened to be a few extra chapters of the final fight, I wouldn't mind that either ].

I love this manga to death. Im not upset in any way at the ending. I think Kishi, after 15 long and hard years, skipped to the end in that final stretch instead of giving the ending the love and care that he has been giving the rest of the manga all these years.
