If Boruto is going to be the main protagonist of this new series he is going to have to go through trials tribulations to
prove he is an interesting character. The problem is to many the issues he had in the Boruto movie with Naruto were
so small compared to what people in Naruto's generation had to go through that to many he just comes off as a whiny
brat. He has a sister, both parents, and has never really lost anything. Him losing people close to him would show what
he is made of when he goes through real adversity. I think losing his mother or sister or even both could be
devastating to him and could lead him down a path that may not be entirely on the good side either. It would also be
interesting to see initially how Naruto would cope losing his wife or daughter and whether or not he goes into hatred
or depression. It could also create a rift initially where Boruto blames Naruto which could give them a good reason
to have animosity to each other. We know later he has a transplanted byakugan which could have came from either
of them after they died so it is something to consider. In my scenario this death would occur before the scenes seen
at the beginning of last chapter where Naruto is potentially dead and could be one of the catalysts that leads Boruto
to where he is when we see him there. I know it seems dark and may be further and than the new writer is willing to go
but do you think such a scenario would be an interesting direction to go?
