Overall do you think the handling of Team Boruto is being developed better than team 7 in terms of relationship(friendship and the health of the friendship), character development in terms of strategies and power and team work?
Team 7 logically shouldn't have had the kind of bond they did especially based on the time apart and alot between them just seemed forced at times.
I like Team 7 beginnings though. I wouldn't change it, not even Sakura's capabilities except for adding genjutsu usage. From a writers standpoint team 7 had good growth respectively all up until after they met Sasuke in part 2. Then it started to fall apart for me. Then it just picked back up in the war.
There's a difference between people born into a family with skilled parents to teach them stuff or have people who had the time to. Against people who weren't as much.
The relationship dynamic in team bolt is much better. But Sasukes backstory and narutos ambition is what drove a lot of people to keep watching p1. So they both have their pros and cons.

I like team 7 in the sense that they're more independent, more child-like, more fun to watch, and a much clear, precise character development.The representation of them in the anime, was true to their personalities...
Boruto's team, on the other hand, they're more mature/civil, with less psychological trauma, than the previous generation...they seem a little more dependent,though, with more family support, the adults seem to interfere more in their story(even though these adults, were characters from the previous franchise "Naruto", which is understandable), this generation obviously has it easier. While the previous generation came from a more humble beginning. The unfortunate part, is that instead of a weekly release, they're monthly, which gives them less of an advantage...
Team 7 is better developed, while team boruto is at an disadvantage...not only has team boruto been a thing for only a few years, it's a monthly manga.And for the simply fact that team 7 has been a thing since 1999, and they've become adults...they have way more development, AND they were a weekly manga.
Team 7-18-19 years of development.
Team boruto- 3 years of disloyal development.
Might even be fair to say that it's unfair to compare them,in terms of development, but at least I can compare their circumstances...lmao.
Team Boruto is only more skilled to to the fact that they developed after Naruto was over. Honestly Outside of mitsuki Boruto and sarada together wouldn't beat curse mark level one Sasuke or Naruto with tailed beast cloak or even using kurama chakra at all. Mitsuki is op.
I think they are on the right track but it's too early to tell. I just hope all get their time to shine and no one gets ignored as bad as Sakura. I didn't really feel there was a Team 7. Instead, it was team Naruto and Sasuke for most of the manga/anime.
