Do you think Sasuke's character was handled well after the Kage Summit?

I do not like his Character, but it was indeed well developed and kind of interesting, just weak motives..

I'd put him right below Madara and Naruto.

How does he have weak motives when his motives were hundreds of times more believable and fathomable than Madara's?

Sasuke was always too well-written for this manga. You people need to read actual literature to even fathom it.

This, his closure with Naruto was simply genius. Got it hand it to Kishi, chapter 698 will always be one of my favourite chapters

I liked his progression over the entire series, there were a few things that I would have done differently, but I won't complain.

Sasuke was the only reason I still watched this manga and I was very satisfied with the way things ended for him.

You know what, you're right, Sasuke wasn't handled badly, it was just the story around him that lacked personality to capitalize on his interesting character development. Hebi Sasuke was so fun because he had the dynamic between his side kicks. Suigetsu was the snarky indifferent mind of reason, Jugo was the weird bipolar dude who was kind of just there, Karin was the crazy fangirl, Sasuke was the cold and calculating edgy silent type who was the leader of the crew. It was just fun times. If his original editor haden't left that gave him all these cool ideas and kept him from making stupid character designs (ahem Oonoki (midget) and Raikage(pro wrestler)) and dumb choices (making Oonoki survive that meteor) then I bet Sasuke's storyline would have capitalized on his dynamic character development making in more interesting and fun. Btw I ****ing hate killer be and Raikage

I will have to rep you for this, because Bee and Raikage are products of just bad ... bad writing.

Yeah and guess who told him to create them, his NEW editor, the one that replaced Yahagi who worked with Kishi for the first 10 years (editor for Ginatama now), because he likes WWE. Pro wrestling in a ****ing ninja story, as the political leader of a village??? Bad bad move... The Kages were made out to be serious stuff in Part 1, Gaara's dad was no gag character he was a brutal and cold realistic political leader. Hiruzen had a funny side but his concept was still ninja like and serious. All the Hokages are great concepts, can't say much for the other kages besides Konoha or Sand Village. A, Mai, and Oonoki are jokes. But I do like the newest generation of Kage.

Now I finally see why this manga hit rock bottom. Whose bright idea was to hire this wrestling loving degenerate?

I think ms Sasuke is the best Sasuke in the series.

And if Tobi actually gone through the plan and sync ms Sasuke to the Gedo mazou, he would of negged the five kages.

You would like Sasuke a lot more.

well he was left sitting in a cave by obito and not used bc kishi wanted to develop him another way. he just so happened to run into itachi lol.

the only problem i have with him is that he was fighting and smiling alongside naruto but that whole time he was thinking about killing him lol. what a ****

Let's not go that far, I still enjoyed the manga especially the stuff about Madara, but the change in editors clearly negatively effected the quality of the writing. In fact, if it wasn't for Yahagi Kishimoto would have made Minato a dog, Hiruzen a monkey, and the Akatsuki exclusively animal themed like Kisame. Clearly Yahagi served to keep Kishimoto's bad ideas out of the story, and refine them into quality material. New editor just wanted to add to the ridiculousness, thus we got silly characters and immense amounts of power inflation within the span of 2 days. Yes, within 2 days in the Naruto universe Naruto multiplied his power and talents by the 1000s.

No . His emu phase should have been given a wrap before the war even began. Give an extra arc if you have to, settle Sasuke's character then, and proceed to move on to the issues with alatsuki. Having dragged his "redemption" till the last chapter was dumb. and I put redemption in quotations because he was still unaccepted in the village. tf .

Only major issue I have with post Yahagi Naruto is how the other villages were treated, too many gag characters that's not how it was foreshadowed in Part 1, part 1 made the other villages out to be ruthless and unreasonable. 5 kage summit was just a bunch of goof balls besides young Gaara and my boy Danzo. Danzo stuck out like a sore thumb as he was the least cartoony and ridiculous politician there. What did Kishimoto think this was Hunter x Hunter? oh wait..

Haha, he would have done them a favor this way. It's not like they turned out better anyway.

No it would just be stupid. Hiruzen and Minato were decent characters.

It's clearly we have a different definition on what ''decent'' means. They had potential, but in the end they turned out lackluster af.

I disagree, Hiruzen hardly got anything to do as an edo tensei, but his time alive he was a fantastic character. That didn't change, he came back and left but that doesn't change who he is. Minato had a great backstory and he helped the good guys out a lot in the final battles against Juubi, Obito, and Madara. He also had some good scenes with Naruto, especially their goodbye to each other. If you want a character that was lackluster as **** I'd give that award too Kiba.

dog boy is Kiba

Still don't know who that is.

On a more serious note, it's all coming down to opinions, so there's no point to cram down mines on your throat.

I had pretty big expectations from Minato when he was first introduced , he just didn't do it for me in the end. That's all.
