Do you think Sasuke will take Boruto away for a few years like Jiraiya did for Naruto

Seeing as Boruto has not only that Ootsuki seal but also that unique eye, Sasuke may need to train Boruto on his countless travels around different dimensions.

Boruto is indeed Sasuke's apprentice and Boruto wants to be like Sasuke so it adds up, especially since after the timeskip we see Boruto donning a cloak like Sasuke and maybe even welding his sword.

They can likely see how to control or free Boruto of that Momo curse and also learn more about the Ootsuki lineage and abilities.

If they do indeed choose to do this then hopefully unlike Naruto to Shippuden I hope we don't skip it seeing as that would be all new martial, new powerful enemies and new worlds/dimensions to explore... maybe even with other races and villages.

Also seeing as Orochi wants Mitsuki to keep a eye on Boruto and learn something from him (maybe some bonds or frienship stuff) then I believe he should join up as well

we can still cut back to the Ninja world and what not and even have arcs simultaneously happening between the two said groups


plus this journey can also showcase the origins of the byakugan eye since the Oostuki (aliens) seem to have it by default before chakra mutation


they could also return to the real world when they need to visit ancient oostuki, hyuuga ,uchiha, uzumaki shrines and read old scrolls


without the knowledge of some Konoha people... just imagine Sarada is doing a mission and Boruto and co are literally near her without her knowing (they help out and then they leave without her knowing it was them)

There's definite hints at the seal and Sasuke's investigation, that at some point in the story, Sasuke is going to deal with it personally.

Sasuke said that he was going to train Boruto, but he's busy. So I can only assume at one point that Boruto and his Otsutsuki mission will be aligned, so that he can do both.

I think he will to a degree but I kind of get the feeling she's going to figure out a majority her sharnigans capabilities and the heights of its potential on her own (hopefully resemblant to that of Itachi; being that he taught himself a lot and got strong on his own). I mean based on her stats, feats (so far) and inheritance of Sasukes talent it's safe to assume that she's going to be a very polished Uchiha.

OT: I don't want them to split up, I think it would be refreshing to see them stick together.

It would be interesting if Sasuke has to leave with Boruto, rather than him just leaving the Village because 'bleh bleh train train'.

Jiraiya for instance used wanting to train Naruto as a scapegoat for wanting to protect Naruto from the Akatsuki, and to make him stronger obviously. Momoshiki said that something bad is going to happen to Boruto, so it would be interesting if Boruto does something horrible, or if he has to leave the Village because he's not safe to be around anymore.

It could lead to a sort of redemption arc that Naruto didn't need to go through.

If she ends up knowing katon i think it'll be safe to say he trained her a bit tbh. Tho hopefully we get some interaction in the movie they had little to no interaction with each other. The Gaiden also. Would rather her fight like an Uchiha with finesse and not just how Tsunade and Sakura fight.

It would be really interesting to see more of their master-student relationship, especially in that Jiraiya-Naruto scenerio. But Sasuke isn't Jiraiya - he has a daughter in whose life he was absent for many years. Even now their relationship seems weird to me. The whole Gaiden plot was about how Sarada misses her father and now, when he is finally home, she is so happy about him teaching Boruto. It still isn't confirmed if Sarada can use FireBall jutsu, which is, you know, the basic Uchiha technique?... Idk. As much I like so called "Gohan and Piccolo" thing going on with Boruto and Sasuke, I despise the idea about them leaving the village for longer time period.

The problem is they keep trying to have their cake and eat it too with Sasuke. In one aspect they want to have him be married and have a kid so there is a next generation Uchiha and the Sasusaku fandom will be happy. On the other hand they don't want to change his personality or how he acts to reflect him being married with a kid. They simply have him act like he is a single hermit like Jiraya that travels for years at a time and then maybe trains a student or two along the way.
