First Hell's Memories is no different than Red Hawk. It is not a mode rather a move which is executed residual effect of Sanji's painful memories that transforming will and rage into visible flame. Second it is a post TS move and from it use so far dependent on recollecting events of Okama central. Third Gears, Asura & Diable Jamble are the M3 respective modes (to date). Sanji had a derivation of Hell Memories when he faced Absalom (pre TS) which was dependent on his emotion & executed as a gag to exemplify him as a demon. Fourth Zoro vs Kaku was not extreme diff. To say so would be to believe Pika vs Zoro was extreme diff as well since the mechanics behind the fight are the same. (execution of one of the best skill pieces). Zoro overwhelmed Kaku so much so he had to use DF and each barrage was either brushed off or tanked to which Zoro matched him with a skill of his own and one shot him. Lastly, in regards to your question the answer is no. Excluding swordsmanship skill, Kaku's defeat can be placed on the gap in physical strength between two. I find that Kaku was like Sanji. A tricky speedster but lacking in physical power, endurance and durability in relation to Zoro albeit well equipped to pose a decent threat to Sanji. Pika is the one enemy Sanji might have beat faster than Zoro. Speed + KH is his forte.

Kaku had a better DF. Carnivorous Zoans are just more aggressive and bloodthirsty, not necessarily stronger. Kaku was more experienced with Rankakyu, and there is no proof that Jabra had better Soru. Kaku's DF granted him very powerful legs since a kick from a giraffe can decapitate a lion, so Kaku's Rankakyu was greatly enhanced. His long neck also improved his Rankakyu. The long nose granted to him by his DF also improved his Shigan. The only part of a wolf that Jabra used was the claws. Kaku clearly had a better DF.

Even if Kaku's DF wasn't inherently better, he clearly used it better. Jabra increased his brute strength, and while Kaku did the same, Kaku is the only one of the two to actually have been shown using the DF to enhance his skills. Hell, even Lucci arguably used his DF less creatively and didn't enhance his skills as much as or like Kaku did.

No man, I'm just done with it. I don't like to waste my time on garden gnomes with an inflated ego.
