[Question] Do you think Roger is the strongest man in the manga timeline?

Are you seriously comparing One Piece to the real world? Remember what WB said "Once someone(Luffy) finds that great treasure(One Piece) the entire world will be engulfed in war," it would be foolish to believe that Luffy and the WG wouldn't participate. The Gorosei have scars on their bodies and one of them carries a sword(it might be Shodai Kitetsu). Why would they have scars on their face and carry a sword if they weren't fighters?

I feel like Roger's strength wasn't just physical. I find it hard to believe that in terms of raw power, anyone could beat a Prime WB. Roger most likely edged out WB because of other aspects. Maybe his Haki was untouchable, or his charisma.

Yeah Dragon or Shanks could have surpassed him already. Although the chances of that aren't too high but it's possible. And if that's the case, there will be quite a few characters stronger at EOS. If someone possesses an ancient weapon, it could make him stronger than Roger too.

Although i'm not sure about a ton of people that being the case with since Newgate was said to have matched Roger and i'm gussing his strength only declined with age, not getting stronger. Anyway's, I believe Shanks was the only person stronger than Shanks there has been so far (Dragon and other Yonko other than Teach may also be the case but we have seen literally nothing from them, until we do, I won't judge their strength U__U, for know i'll say they aren't though, could be wrong though).
