my god , humans never learn do they. Look manga AND anime is canon. i repeat There is NOTHING such a s filler in DBS.

Even if they both have God ki I can't see it affecting their base forms, since to achieve a new level of Ki they have always needed to transform in the first place, Like they have always done with Ssj1, 2 and 3 and thats where Blue would fit in.

I also found this interesting when skim reading

Calling Super saiyan blue "A new evolution of power Nearing that of the gods". Found it interesting that they said "Nearing the power of gods" and not just saying "A new evolution with the power of gods". Since i'd assume if you have god Ki your power is that of a god not a power nearing that of gods.

I knew someone would bring that up but that's just what the MS translation scan says, the raw leaked scan states its a power above the gods.

“But as this was happening Goku and Vegeta were receiving training from Beerus and Whis and managed to reach a new level of Super Saiyan even above God now known as Super Saiyan Blue.”

Iv'e seen a few of the interviews and none of them have said he had directly input with the actual animations. It has been stated he wrote the plot line and created the character models.

Also i would like to see said research that states he had more imput in the anime than the manga?.



Show the manga scan i haven't seen goku even come close to hitting whis. Even with Vegeta's help.

Sadly most sites dont have the full chapter and are missing pages like this
Thats why the scan is in Japanese but i read the mangas(db and dbs/rof) alot so i remember him saying "that was close". But when Goku launches his attack the silhouette of the ssg form is shown behind him while he is in base throwing heavy attacks at whis with ki around his fist.
This style of fighting goes into his brawl with freeza
Basically the chapter confirmed his sbg/base power being god tier
And Gohan was used a a stepping stone for freeza to show his first forms new power along with statements made on his ki when they sensed it
Thus putting his first form in buu tiers because even if you take away his mystic boost he still has his zenkai from fighting buu and z sword training perks
And freezas 1.3 million line came before he started training and was a rough guess,since he never trained before of course he wouldn't know his true potential and he didn't even know his golden form had stamina issues or that his ki was decreasing

In conclusion Base Goku is far beyond any ss3 now due to god ki merging

None of that happened in the manga.

In the manga goku did not fight beerus outside of Super saiyan god. If you want his fight with beerus in the movie then go read the manga you will see massive inaccuracies between the two.

Goku fighting beerus outside of super saiyan god is complete filler, as i said go see for yourselves



Vegeta never got God ki, he has super saiyan blue.

Second if goku did absorb god Ki his super saiyan blue would completely dwarf vegeta's making him completely irreverent to goku's training and i highly doubt vegeta would get God ki, off panel and also have nothing said of it. Goku absorbing god Ki in his base form creates to much of a power gap between him and the other than it would make anyone that isn't goku completely redundant in comparison.
Also if this was true goku wouldn't even been super saiyan blue to take down golden freiza, his base form would've been enough or just SSj1

You do realize that:

1- Dragon Ball super manga is a summary of what's happening on the anime, that's right, a summary.

2- What happens in the anime and happened in the movies is not filler since it's Toriyama's direct writing

3- While the manga is actually drawed by Toyble, not Toriyama.

At the end of the day, in dragon ball super:

1- Anime: More complete version. Toriyama is in charge

2- Movies: Shorter and less detailed version of what happens on the anime. Toriyama's work.

3- Manga: A short path for the desesperate ones. Not drawed by Toriyama.

None of these can be called filler. In this case the Anime is the more "canon"
