A ribcage is able to resist a mountain buster like Cho Odama rasengan (at least in Madara's case), that's easily more firepower than a single Raikiri.

Maybe ,but Kakashi's raikiri is concentrated into one single point and its also made specifically to penetrate while the Cho Odama Rasengan is meant for overall damage
