Totally. I find people being attracted to people weird, because people aren't particularly beautiful animals either. I mean, obviously we're attracted to our own kind, but it's like, idk, a blobfish being attracted to other blobfish situation. Always reminded of this fact every time I think about how similar we look to apes & they're ugly asf. If the aliens were similarly intelligent to humans, there'd totally be a ton of interspecies relationships.
