Do you think people can separate pride and morals from facts and should they?

Cus this seems to be a problem over and over again, people deny facts or they twist the truth as far as they can so the opinoins are more in line with what is supposed to be "right."

I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, when someone controversial speaks, then people don't want to respond to that, not cus not because they are wrong but because it's sensitive.

People are guided out of what they aim for truth, what they want to be true, they don't change their minds unless it's cus of pride they have a wish and then they look for facts to support that belief.

It goes the other way around as well.people don't ackowledge things that hurt their sense of pride or morals, that goes first. It doesn't matter if they are wrong or not.

I think it would be beneficial for anyone to be able too receive factual information without any type of influence and it would definitely trim the level of fuckery in the world but unfortunately that’s too high of an expectation for the majority. Reading or hearing things trigger emotion responses and it’s almost a genetic behavior but I don’t think it’s impossible.

To answer your question.. can we? I’d love to see it.
