Do you think Orochimaru knew Danzo had the Sharingan?

I find it very possible, but at the same time he may have felt Danzo was too powerful for him to defeat alone. I know both are obsessed with sharingan. Or was it just orochimaru wanted to go for sasuke because he had so much potential it would overall be the better vessel(i know he'd just take danzos eyes not his body).

oro probably helped him attach everything from sharingan to mokuton. even if oro stole some sharingan his body is still weak

Orochimaru gave him the sharingan. Naruto community doesn't know Naruto at all

Yes. Orochimaru was the one who worked with danzo to give him mokuton. in my opinion it was danzo who made orochimaru interested in the sharingan in the first place.
