Yes. I love it when there are a lot of characters, but there are so many in this series that get either forgotten or completely worthless after a while so...yeah.

If Kishimoto had focused a bit more on the character development and power balances and less time on introducing new characters who eventually get useless (like Sai), the manga would've been better off.

This, for example Konoha 11, they provide some other dialouge every now and then but they are not part of the main storyline really.
