Personally I think ending the series around the Pain Arc would've been nice. Rinnegan should've been a one time thing, it's starting to get a bit out of hand with Sharingan and Rinnegan eyes and its new wielders. Pain was just the perfect final villain for me, his motive was thought out really well and his backround was pretty interesting as well.

Tobi should've just been killed off after revealing the truth to Sasuke and before gaining the Rinnegan in a battle with Minato's desciple - Kakashi of course, because Obito overall just isn't as good as a villain as Pain in my eyes with his weak motive and all.

Also, the addition of really powerful techniques after the Pain arc just got out of hand - Izanami, Kabuto's Mass Edo Tensei and Susano'o clones to name a few (though in defense of Madara, a great Shinobi like him should be expected to perform great Jutsu). In addition, Sasuke vs. Naruto, the "final" battle we've all been waiting for would be more guaranteed around the Pain arc since he didn't meet up with Edo Itachi and Hokages than it is now in the current arc, with his new decision kinda throwing us off guard...

I could rant on and on as to why I stand by my opinion, BUT enough of my rambling, I want to hear your thoughts, they are more important than my own! You may disagree with me if you like, that is fine, just as long as isn't rude. So again, should the series have ended around the Pain arc or the current, Shinobi World War Arc? I reccomend you give supporting details as to why, it makes your posts more interesting to read, although you do not have to.

No. That's incredibly anti-climactic.

That would not be very fun to watch, I agree that there were quite a few issues before, but I wouldn't trade this for anything in the world.

The juubi, the hokages are back, Madara, sage of six paths is right around the corner. I've never been more hyped in my life. I like that he continued it! It seems like it will all be worth it :D

There would be too many things left undisclosed and shinobi left without their dynamic development. Throw away Tobi's identity out the window, throw the reason for Tobi's fighting out the window, throw the real Madara out the window, throw the origins of the two main clans out the window, throw the still-theoretical tying of loose ends of the Sage of Six Paths out the window--Stuff like this cannot be left to Fan Fiction writers because they won't be completely plausible!

Tobi's identity and reasoning could've been revealed during my proposed fight with Kakashi, on the subject of Madara a bit debatable but is a good point and everything else you said are good points as well. Appreciate the criticism! Hopefully that doesn't sound too weird haha!XD

If there would have been a time skip I could see that being a good ending to part 2 with a few tweaks. Leave my guy Kakashi dead or don't bring back all the villagers. Gives the characters room to grow and ect. I don't mind this war arc too much. It has moments where it feels dragged out and others where it's really good. However I agree with you on the eyes though, should have just been a 1 time thing with Pain.
