Will he even be able to recognise his dad's chackra? He's only been exposed to a tiny bit of his dad's chackra before, which activiated when Kyubi chackra went mental... I think he'll sense it, but not know what it is.

Yes Naruto can sense too, he can sense everyone's chakra when he is in Sage mode, like when he came back to fight pain and he couldn't sense Kakashi... He can also sense both chakra and emotions when he is in KM... I think he will feel some bright new powerful 4 chakras coming his way with a couple of seemingly dark ones with good emotions (simply because they are coming to help)
