If madara used Izanami on himself then that would have granted him time to access the 1st Hokage's abilities and his dna to become as powerful as he has become. He could loop the fight over and over and continue to learn the techniques just as Sasuke learned the Edo Tensi Technique. What do you think?????

As long as he doesnt get sealed away i believe he will just let the edo end taking him with it, or pull some other tech that keeps him around. Sasuke is tobi's pawn... and we just saw sasuke watch itachi undo the edo... if you arent seeing where im going with this im hinting towards sasuke using edo to bring back madara after he goes away this time.
