Do you think Lee wll surpass Minato speed?

Have we seen any speed feats from Lee in Shippuden? No character development :'(

Thing is though, Lee can't use Shunshin. That tech greatly enhances foot speed.

Base speed; sure, gates practically takes speed out of human contexts.
If we are talking about footspeed (not ftg, shunshin; just physical) we don't even know what part 2 Lee is capable; i don't understand why he can't be faster that Minato's base speed just cuz he is Minato.

FTG isn't speed, it's an instant teleport. The Manga doesn't show any feats of Minato being fast.

Though, no one in the Manga will ever beat his reaction time, that is what Lee or anyone else will ever surpass.

in the manga teleportation is high movement speed shunshin/body flicker.
FTG is a Space time tech which is instant.

Lee can't do neither of those 2. he uses foot speed only.
Minato's shunshin is up there, debatable if the best at it or not, but still on a top 3 ranking.

space time leaves no trace. teleportation/body flicker does... yellow flash can also be due to his shunshin, not necessarily FTG.

I guess Lee has greater foot speed, specially when we consider the gates and also the weights.
now we can speculate if he can outrun Minato shunshin or not. but if we include FTG obviously Minato wins xD

Lee's speed without the weights is almost instant. He can even give the impression of teleporting. Not as fast as FTG but not far off it.

Poeple need to stop talking about FTG everytime someone mentions "SPEED" and "MINATO" in the same sentence without directly mentioning any sort of jutsu except for shunshin.

Minatos speed is his foot speed, NOT his FTG ability because it is NOT considered SPEED.

its a S/T jutsu. His jutsu makes the time value in the speed formula: Speed = distance/time equal 0, making it undefined and therefore not classifiable as speed.

He won't ever surpass Minato's speed, the only person that can surpass his speed at base level would be his son Naruto in my opinion. However, I do believe he will surpass his sensei Might Guy overall.

Minato is hte fastest. the reason he uses FTG is to reach a destination of his wish instantly. his shunshin is also fast but he cant reach his destination when he is in physical world(using shunshin) but teleportation is beyond physical barriers and that is why Minato uses FTG.
