well izanagi does not need a counter all it does it take a hit that would have killed or massively inured the person and make it so it never happened bassically so all u gotta do to counter izanagi is have the power to do it again keep in mind most ppl who use it will not have 10 tries like danzo they will have 2 and then they will be blind

unless they have a way to do it without losing their eye wich i think is possible because i think they said the sage did it but if thats they case then u jus need to outlast it

as for izanami we wont kow what it does until tommorow

not really tho as all those eyes are at his lab so if he wins the fight he can put a new eye in but during battle no one will give him time to go back home and transplant an eye and then continue

but then he ran away from the fight and on top of that if he has to run from a fight by the time he transplants this eye and comes back to fight again the guy that thoroughly smashed him and forced him to run will jus do it again

remeber u dont jus pop and eye in a roll it takes time to heal look how long it took sasuke to heal from the surgery

that... the cost is too big for kishi to just make a "wild electrode used self destruct... Wild electrode's attack does not affect your gengar... wild electrod faints" kind of plot... U_U

possible but when new manga come out everyne jus makes their own thread and act like they didnt see the others cuz they wanna feel special last week a guy even waited till the chapter come out and made a thread called last minute prediction about how we will see the izanami haha like no one noticed he read the manga then opened the thread predicting sumthing he jus read
