Itachi's story should've ended a while back. It's nice that he got brought back with the edo tensei and was able to talk to Naruto & Sasuke again but please. Kishimoto just L E T H I M G O.

That goes for the fanbase as well. Move on. The manga isn't about Itachi.

No, let the legends of the past be just that, legends. Kishi shouldn't have brought back any of the dead Hokage either. It gave sort of a mystique to their character when we didn't know every little thing about them. We didn't need to see Itachi unleash his Izanami. Similarly, we were better off discussing how limitless Minato's powers and legend was.
