Do you think Kawaki would try to escape if he was under Sasuke's care?

It's obvious Kawaki would escape if he was living with Sakura and Sarada but if Sasuke actually decided to watch Kawaki would he even attempt to do so?

Sasuke would probably have a harder time unless he genjutsu'd him or showed Susanoo.

No he wouldn't. The point of him living with them is to gain their trust. This, "smack-down" on a kid who already knows abuse from adults would work negatively.

If anything, he trusts other kids (Boruto) over adults.


Naruto went RSM to show that he's chances of escaping are slim to none. Sasuke would most likely do the same.

I think he would have put him in a genjutsu kinda like what he did to C during the Kage Summit Arc but it would have made for an interesting dynamic if he was to watch over Kawaki though

That's sounds extremely out of character for him. If you didn't notice, Kawaki didn't attempt to harm anyone, he threw the table as a diversion, blocking Naruto's view and running towards the sliding glass door.

That's why he apologized about the vase. It's not like he flipped in disrespect in the same way Delta did Jigen.


He would 100% at any chance he got with Sasuke as he did Naruto.

Doubtful, that would give more incentive for him to want to escape even more, probably getting more drastic and desperate.

Sasuke isn't good with children, he's barely good with his own Daughter and Boruto, a unruly kid with a troubled past isn't what he needs.

Killing intent wouldn't work either and would reinforce his resolve. This kid blew someone in half, the concept of death doesn't have the same impact as you think it would, especially given he'd see Sasuke and everyone else in konoha as threats that can kill him.

Nope. Him losing a limb would only strength is resolve to escape by any means.

He didn't become weak in the knees. He rationalized that Naruto's power was comparable to Jigen's. Someone who he wouldn't try to escape from.

It doesn't take someone on the level of Sasuke to remove a 12 year old's arm. That wouldn't do shit to keep him under control. And considering what we've seen this chapter. Jigen experimented on his body, heavily modifying his cells among other things. There's no telling how much he went through to get the body he has now.


Sasuke isn't stupid enough to approach it that way. Naruto would lose his shit if he found out Kawaki was missing an arm anyway. That and the kages see Kawaki as a Jinchuriki, uchiha orphan (someone to be monitored, no imprisoned)
