Do you think Kakashi should have died with Obito?

This is a topic I've been thinking about recently. I feel it would have been an epic and fitting end for him as well as Obito as it would signal the passing of the flame from Team Minato to Team 7, but at the same time, Obito was right in saying that Kakashi is vital to helping Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura through their struggles no matter how physically strong they are now.

I'm really glad he didn't. I know there isn't much he can do right now but when all this is over he's gonna be one of those cool old folks who have known so much about the ninja world and will tell it stories to the younger generation and they will be like Damn! this old man went through all this, he's so cool

I want him to be an old man like Hiruzen. Teach the next generation and tell then stories of the past. Maybe even become hokage while Naruto and Sasuke are screwing with each other over the spot.
