Do you think Japan rocks for other reasons besides anime/manga or not?

Well, I think Japan is one of the more interesting countries from all over the globe: history, all the samurai/ninja stuff, their way of thinking, fashion, traditions, SCIENCE....and the way they put all their s**t together after 1945, amazing. Yes, Japan rocks on Video Games too. Nintendo, Playstation, etc. Also, with some really awesome games like Metal Gear Solid, Sonic, Zelda, Tetris etc.

And, meh, I think every culture has something good about it. :y You can't really call Japan "one of the more interesting countries from all over the globe" until you've studied the native cultures of every country.
