I get a feeling danis dragon that's named after jons dad will also become a ice dragon.

And I think this dragon will symbolically be connected to jon for one it's named after his dad and if it dies and becomes a ice dragon it also symbolically connects jon since he's associated to ice.

So if this ice dragon can be resurrected it will further it's association to jon a person who came back from death.

Ice dragons are supposed to be a separate species. In fact GRRM once wrote a story revolving around an ice dragon and he wrote this even before he started his ASOIAF-series. This story is also the origin of the theory that there's an ice dragon hidden under Winterfel as it's speculated the latter was the place where this story occurred. I remember though that Martin once said that the ice dragon story (forgot the name) did not take place in the world of ASOIAF, but it very well has a lot of elements that would eventually end up in it. Fans easily disregard Martin's statement though, claiming that he could have changed his mind.

Now it's possible that the producers just decided to do things their own way, but I don't think they confirmed that Viserion now counts as an ice dragon. To be honest I find it questionable whether the killing of Viserion will even occur in the books. I don't see either why Jon should be connected with Rhaegal via "ice". Jon is already associated with ice, now his association with fire just has to be revealed.
