[Discussion] Do you think Impel Down did well?

We all know that people were not happy with the result of attack on Impel Down.

Magellan lost his position. But do you think he did his job well? Was it his fault that the attack on Impel Down was successful?

After all, the attack on Impel Down was a Combination of Boa, who infiltrated and brought Luffy, even though she had a status of ones who work with Marines, meaning that she could be trusted, and Blackbeard, who had the same status.

Magellan made mistake of not killing his enemies when he had the chance and making sure whether he succeeded and not taking care of dangerous criminals. Mistake which would not matter if it wasn't for the combination of many unpredictable factors.
