That's why he keeps teasing the pairings, right? Also, that was a team combination back in Storm 2, and Kishimoto doesn't develop the Storm games.. With that logic he gave his "blessing" to Karin and Mei's "Sexy Eyes" combination and Jugo and Kiba's "Animal Lovers" combination. -_-

Yes. Sakura has already confessed her love for him. Of course, everyone is hiding behind a supposed false confession, when it's not the case. The thing she lied about is being totally over Sasuke and what Konoha was going to do about him, but her confession was true.

It's not just the pages, it's many more than that. It's the visual art because the manga is a visual medium first and foremost, it's the whole development ever since the beginning of the manga, it's Sakura's development ever since the beginning of the manga.

Naruto doesnt secretly love Sakura, he hasnt given two &*%$@ about her since she lied to him about liking him during the Sasuke/Danzo arc. That moment was the last straw, he no longer had any respect for her. If youll notice hes hardly acknowledged her existence since then.

The Naruto story works on parallels, not a coincidence at all.
You can argue the Legendary Sannin mirror Team 7 almost exactly: [i'll look at their relationships]
Sannin:
1. Made up of 3 Members Taught by the 3rd Hokage
2. A Once in A Generation Genius , Kunoichi, and Misbehaving Troublemaker [Albeit doesn't seem like he was poor in his skills]
3. The Troublemaker likes the Kunoichi however is constantly berated and ignored by her, the genius does not seem to be interested in that kind of behaviour.
4. The Genius flees the village pursuing his own agendas
5. The Troublemaker tries to stop his friend but cannot
6. The Kunoichi is asked by the Genius to aid him in recovering, she refuses and is almost killed and is saved by the Troublemaker and his apprentice
6. After many events in Life, the Troublemaker and Kunoichi are ''closer'', and prior the Troublemaker leaving the village for a recon mission, the Kunoichi after being teased by the Troublemaker that she would shed tears for him if he were to die, the Kunoichi makes the following very interesting and ambiguos statement later regarding the Troublemaker having to act tough:
7. Upon death the Toublemaker laments that he could not succeed in his advancements on the Kunoichi amongst other things
Team 7

9. During the war, the Kunoichi constantly remarks on how the Troublemaker has grown both in physique and resolve, and how his heart resonates in everyone participating in the war.
10. Upon reuniting with the Genius for the third time, the Kunoichi seems pleased however is told by a fellow shinobi that their fake smile is clear to see past.

IMO:
I am a very big fan of the idea NaruHina, however, just as Jiraiya eventually grew on Tsunade, i think Naruto has done on Sakura
Tsunade lost many 'loves', [family and others], and it seems was reluctant to give herself to Jiraiya and losing him also, even though she did anyway, and it seems from that statement that she was ready to admit to herself and him that she loved him more than what people see as a brother.
In Naruto's case, i believe he has done, [very clear to see], an enormous amount of things that have made Sakura's heart change from cold to warm to love.
What is complicated for Sakura and Naruto, is it seems she still loves Sasuke, however she knows now that Sasuke is not who she wants him to be, and most likely he will never be, and Naruto has become the man she needs.
I think something will happen to make this clear

Narusaku fans: Sakura knows damn well that he loves her. Dot. And seemingly cares, but does not really love him, only like a brother. So far: personally I do not think that Kishi will change this.
Onyl think about the epicness of ending up alone for only one true love or just changing her taste and suddenly achieve a fanservice.... which of these are more worth finish for a saga? Heh?
