Do you think Garp could of killed Akainu?

I was just rewatching the climax of the war and i was thinking if Sengoku didn't restrain Monkey D. Garp he would of owned Akainu imo



I would like to read your opinions whether or not Garp could of killed Akainu?

Yeah garp has amazing CoA Haki. He was able to own Marco with one hit, when others couldn't fight though his pheonix DF powers. Garp could do the same to Akainu.

of course, garp is the best but he would have serious problems and take much damage because of old age i hope that garp will fight akainu in the future and not luffy because luffy would never kill someone no matter what but i am pretty sure garp would die in the fight and take akainu with him

To be honest, Garp did not lose to Luffy when Luffy was trying to save Ace. Garp was confused about how serious he should be against Luffy and his heart also want Ace to be saved. After all, Garp fought with all those strong opponent like Roger, Whitebeard, Golden Lion, and etc evenly. Akainu still lose to old, injured, and sick Whitebeard. Even if Akainu is the final boss of the story, it does not mean Garp can't beat him, it just mean that Luffy will be the one fighting. Garp will not interfere or join the battle. I am sure there is quiet a few people that can defeat Akainu too. So Garp should definitely able to beat Akainu. If you said he will not able to get through his Magmas, then it will be same for Luffy who is just Rubber. I believe in the Monkey D. family. lolz!!!
