mmm, i dont think it matters to a degree. we're instinctively wired to know what to do like other mammals

most people curious about *** are curious about the feelings of the act, not the inner organs. im not saying this is true for everyone but i remember most people already had an idea about *** when taking the class. also like an art or French class, even if you take it. doesnt mean youll retain or even use the knowledge after the class, or that it will even help you..

life happens. condoms break, people get raped and get stds, a lot of people follow how their religion and close ones feel about the subject anyway. the class doesnt make a difference in a lot of scenarios but its illogical to not include it in a biology course

*** education also teaches kids how to have safe ***. Yes, people will still suffer those things, but *** ed can reduce the chances of them happening when done right.

hmm, i thought that but..before when they didnt teach *** ed. is it any different then now? i mean people have always dealt with the dangers of std's, and unwanted pregnancy. yet a lot of people seemed to dodge both back then even without the class

Super different and when education combined with access to birth control rates of unintended pregnancy and abortion are cut roughly in half as well as the spread of STD's.

Sure we have these problems and they will be consistent as long as we are in biological bodies but the results are drastically different when abstinence is the only idea put forward.

The W.Bush administration pushed an abstinence only policy of teaching in its aid to countries in Africa and here in the states.

Rates of HIV infection raised wherever those lessons were focused on.

So the lack of access to education regarding reproduction and safe *** literally kills people.

My grandmother who was born in 1920 told me about being a teenager without *** ed.

She knew young women that became pregnant and they literally had no idea how it happened.

Shocking.

So long story short, yup it makes a huge huge difference.

That is what my school failed in doing. Some of the girls during my time in high school were getting pregnant, many people were caught having *** in the library and other parts of the school, and then you had people masturbating in the ROTC room.

However, I went to a different high school my Freshman year and they taught it. It still didn't help since many students were already having kids without caring. And since Hollywood and MTV were glorifying it, pregnancy rates went wild along with STD infections. This one guy had crabs, another girl had herpes, and then you had siphilis going around the DYT, Ohio like crazy.

However, at least my Freshman *** ed class handed out condoms, which was good. Hell, I made the same mistake. This girl my cousin, three other guys, and I hooked up with got pregnant and we all had to get tested to see who was the father (Luckily it wasn't mine).

I've only seen teen mom once but I thought it was showing the difficulties of having a kid? My mom got me on the pill before I was even sexually active. She doesn't know I am now active (or just lie to herself) but when I was 20 the condom pop and my boyfriend had just finished but luckily he told me.He went get me a plan b and a pregnancy test because I was freaking out even though I'm taking birth control. Lucky I wasn't pregnant.

Some girls who were getting pregnant during my school years wanted to get famous because of that show. Others just didn't take the precautions (Condoms, Birth Control, etc.) in order to prevent pregnancy and STDs.

I made that mistake once and I thought I had a daughter. She turned out not to be mine. After coming up clean, my sister yelled at me and started buying me condoms, saying she's too young to be an aunt.

My sister even co*kblocked me on New Years Eve 2010 when me and my ex were in my room all alone and we was about to get busy. I was so drunk XD

-How do you feel about *** education?
-Why do you or don't you think it should be taught in places like middle and high school or even elementary?
-If you think it should be taught what methods do you suggest should be used(example: teaching them certain things depending on their age group)?
-Do you think *** ed would be a hindrance or do you think not teaching *** ed is a hindrance?
-Do you think abstinence is a more effective method than *** ed?

I'm just curious. I was studying something for college sexuality class and I just wanted to know you guys inputs.I'm not going to give my position on the matter so I'll like all you guys comments.

Its importance is overlooked

Middle school is fine that's usually when puberty starts

Yes. There's no need to get into the nitty gritty in middle school but the should have a basic understanding.

Not teaching is a hinderance. This is the information age, fear mongering won't work and it's better they learn from teachers than bang bros.

No. Read above

I believe it should be taught in school because there's a lot of misinformation about this topic out there and it's important to know what you should or shouldn't be doing regarding this.
