What is ***?

It's a type of staple food.

I remember when I first started *** ed I asked my friend so does the Penis go in the vagina in all honesty the most I learned was that stds were bad and memorize some stuff tbh I still don't know how the female anatomy works that shit is confusing

You have a higher chance of proving string theory before understanding the female species.

You guys had models, we had cadavers :lol

My teacher turned cadavers down.He said they didn't last long enough. He even told us how some lady in the town wanted to donate her body as a cadaver and he had to tell her no.He was like "I didn't want someone coming in here and saying 'Hey that my grandma. Why is her body on the table?' "

Absolutely, especially since with **** *** (for both heterosexuals and homosexuals) the incidence of STD transfer is increased more significantly. This is one of those rare cases where more inclusivity protects more of us, rather than alienates others.

Yeah, I mean looking for things like this by yourself when you are not even sure if its legit. It should be teach by school because they are supposed to be people with best information about subject.

There is NO reason why it shouldn't be taught in schools. Parents sure as hell aren't going to teach their kids about it (an overwhelming majority won't) and the internet only gives them half the epicure (the fun half). I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be teaching the basics on sexual education in EVERY SCHOOL SYSTEM.

They made something like three lessons about it when I was 12-13. Of course I didn't learn anything

Regardless of how you feel about premarital *** or teenagers having ***, it won't change one crucial fact: Kids are gonna have ***. No matter how much you thump your Bible or prude nature, there are gonna be kids having ***. It's the job of adults that are responsible for them to keep them safe, and teach them how to keep themselves safe. So yes, *** education is needed. Definitely should be taught.

Absolutely. Everyone should be well informed about their sexuality. What you should and shouldn't do, why you should or shouldn't, how to moderate and why, the long term effects etc. etc.

Unfortunately, people aren't very informed, they learn everything from tv movies games porn friends etc. wich isn't the best thing since a lot of it is misinformation and fiction.

It should be at 8,9 grades, lower than that doesnt feel right to me

Kid shouldnt even know about this stuff untill puberty (sadly some irresponsible adults reveal these stuff to kids at a very young age)

The problem is that some kids, especially the girls, start puberty as young as 10, which is in 4th grade. If you want them to learn at puberty, but not too early, there's gotta be some compromise.

True, tho i still think that the appropriate grade should be grade 8

At first I was just going to type "yes," but then I thought about it. Public schools do a terrible job with every curriculum they touch. In a perfect world parents are good and teach their children about the realities and responsibilities of ***. We of course do not live in a perfect world, and so we have public school education. I would say: Parents > Schools > Game of Thrones.

Deciding on an appropriate age would be the other obstacle. Because of the internet and readily accessible pornography children are being exposed to ***, and even practicing it at disturbing ages. I won't even go into patient stories illustrating that. Naturally I would assume 12 to 13 to accompany puberty and hormone growth would be optimal, but I'm not sure any more.

I believe most people have *** for the first time in their later years of grade school i.e. High school or colllege.
So yeah it's necessary to teach it early on in grade school, maybe 5th grade or 6th so they don't end up with a pregnancy on their hands or std. I think most important thing to teach other than anatomy is how consent works because you'd be surprised how many people don't understand when no means no.

Introduced to fertilisation through plants as a small kid, baby animals as an older kid and the relevant puberty/biological knowledge to not be an idiot by teenage years works just fine.

It actually encourages and furthers early interest in Science also.

Oh boy. Female and man anatomy. I'm a nursing student so when I took anatomy we legit had to learn ever part of the penis and vagina.Just imagine holding a vagina and penis model that can come a loose. We had to know those things inside out...seriously.

Totally!

I'm an artist/professor and I took a nursing anatomy course and we had cadavers, so yeah, the gear inside and out experience is wild.

But on *** ed.

yes yes yes yes yes yes yes!

It's all good, and I don't think it should be restricted to mechanics it needs to explore sexuality in culture and how to identify potential solutions to *** driven problems like rape, harassment etc.

The kids should learn about being gay and trans and all the rest.

The parents can always push an alternative agenda at home or put their kids through home schooling if its so awful to them.

-Do you think *** ed would be a hindrance or do you think not teaching *** ed is a hindrance?

mmm, i dont think it matters to a degree. we're instinctively wired to know what to do like other mammals

most people curious about *** are curious about the feelings of the act, not the inner organs. im not saying this is true for everyone but i remember most people already had an idea about *** when taking the class. also like an art or French class, even if you take it. doesnt mean youll retain or even use the knowledge after the class, or that it will even help you..

life happens. condoms break, people get raped and get stds, a lot of people follow how their religion and close ones feel about the subject anyway. the class doesnt make a difference in a lot of scenarios but its illogical to not include it in a biology course
