Do you think dna is ONLY due to family?

I know this sounds strange, but hear me out.

WHAT IF?

The things we classify as DNA||Genetics etc.

Are things that are not from family?

For example.

Some argue talent is connected to DNA.

Talent can come from practice right?

So that means the source for DNA is not blood.

Some argue fat and alcohol can affect your kid, like give them autism and stuff.

So the source for those genetic imprints are decisions made by you, not given by some divine power.

Now, what if, there were typical genetic outputs, (I don't know the scientific word for it in english), like for example the way you look, the way you talk, height etc, that were IDENTICAL to people you are NOT related too?

Then where is the source if it's not in your family??

Are you suggesting these people who have the same dna outputs are related somehow way back?

What if there are lots of these people, and there are other connections like they are around the same age etc.

Isn't it a strange coincidence that humans have evolved to look about the same around the same time?

Like for example, height has changed throughout history, it's more common now to be taller than it was back in the past.

So somehow we have all gotten taller, around the same time like magic?

What if you have a doppelganger, or there are 300 people in the world with the exact same jaw line as you despite not being related? You mean to tell me the genetic variations are that limited?

I think there might be some other force that comes into play in shaping us other than just our parents and our grandparents.

Like for example, I think if you took a baby, and gave birth to it now or 100 years from now, that baby might have different dna, even if it's from the same parents etc.

Unfortunately there is no way to test that unless you froze a certain single sperm or something. Ugh.

DNA carries the genetic structures of a supposed healthy individual.
In the animal kingdom it becomes more explicit the correlation with DNA and successful creatures in the food chain. Basically, it proves that the "best nitrogenous bases" - that is the ones that can develop bettera individual- are the ones that will be passed on.

So you can't say DNA isn't related to family ties since it is its very principle. One part of your genes are from mother and other from father.
Also - with the crossover you can't be an exact copy of your parents, in almost anything. Just similar.

The fact you can force it to change itself- doesn't take away the fact.

yes its actually completely scientifically plausible that an embryo developing inside the womb of it's mother can marinate in the surroundings around it and randomly pick up talents and other features that would otherwise require a highly random sequence of permutations and combinations in the genome structure it inherits from the parents

I don't think you properly understand what DNA is.

DNA is merely the blueprints of your physical being, it is code. circumstances and environment, even experiences, can change the outcome, all to varying extents.

Twins can be the same 100% genetically, but still differ in many ways. Yet they are still in many ways always going to be the same.

Also, everything that happens slightly changes the outcome of a pregnancy. if you don't take in enough calcium the baby could have weak bones, by sheer chance genetic mutations can occur, by sheer chance the development of the brain or body can change ever so slightly just once, resulting in differences across the board from there on out.

The problem is that DNA may be blueprints... but blueprints for what? Proteins. Simple enough...

How all of that combines to create a person, however, is still very much a mystery. It's one thing to create a stronger cell membrane with altered proteins. It's another thing to change height, to form a nose, etc. There are a lot of things we are only just now beginning to discover about how the body determines what DNA sequences to read, when, and even hereditary aspects of those systems. Other processes exist to tailor gene expression in different tissue groups, in response to different environmental stimuli, etc.

But I think you are going somewhere else with this, all together... what if, say, the 'ego,' - the 'soul' - has a means of impacting our features? What if, after all is said and done, there is no real physical mechanism that determines something like our jaw line or our ears... something 'metaphysical' is required to orchestrate the components into a cohesive being. In other words... what if we could be related by that metaphysical thing - that 'soul' or 'ego' - in a way that transcends physical heredity?

An interesting idea, to be sure. Especially if you know what nephilim are.

[My dad is shorter than me and my brother and we came from him we both have size 12 feet and he has a 10 1/2 foot. This growth simply happened because we had better nourishment than him he grew up poor and humanity eats more now than ever before,I'm not saying this is reason but there's alot of factors that contribute to this and genes skip generations

DNA contains your genetic code, how you develop within it's limits is dependant on the stimuli you're exposed to. The one thing is you'll never exceed your genetic capacity the upper limits will always remain.

Ps. There's no such thing as coincidence.

Is this what the discussion forum has come to? asking questions the school should've answered for you?

also, drinking and doing drugs like alcohol effects the baby because its drugs... you're giving a pre-born baby DRUGS. How hard is this to understand? Its so tiring reading all this ignorance here.

you know what, i've read the entire post... i dont think you ever took a science class in your entire life, or a history class, i dont really think you even went to school before. i just .... i'm so legitimately amazed by this thread. i honestly cannot simply put into words how i feel about it, you're so massively out of touch with science and logic and history ... almost every word of this thread is completely wrong, i feel almost like its on purpose sadly.
