Do you think Buggy has gotten much stronger? I'm not going to classify him on tier levels because of the hate I'd get. Oda loves making weaker characters become a lot stronger later on. (hence with Usopp and his recent bounty) With having Buggy as a warlord I'd think that he's far stronger now than what he was during the War of the Best. Even if it is a misconception by the world government. I'd think Oda wouldn't put him there just to put him there. Oda just has to make Buggy more powerful or else I'd find it just dumb?

Buggy may not become that much stronger but his crew members are more powerful.So as powerful crew's captain he may be powerful.

hence with Usopp (AND) his recent bounty. Just added the bounty on there but sure enough he's much stronger than he was Pre timeskip

I believe buggy will get much stronger by the end of the manga, and I bet he will somehow claim the title of pirate king, even though luffy will have done all the work
