Do you think any villain or antihero in the series has been in the right or justified? Do you think Naruto's talk no jutsu has been wrong in some cases? I do. For example, Sasuke was justified to me in wanting to kill Obito and wanting to burn the juubi. He was also justified in killing Danzo in my opinion. To me, Obito's logic and philosophy was justified. His method was almost justified and it was the closest to being the correct way to make peace in my opinion. I don't have time to explain why because that would require a giant wall of text.

On the other hand, Orochimaru's philosophy and actions are not justified in my opinion. What do you guys think?

Discuss the antagonists that you think are and aren't justifiable.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to say that any of them have been justified, but I completely agree with you that Orochimaru's actions have been the least justifiable, and that's why I've always thought he was the most effective villain in the series.

No, none of the villains actions are justifiable. Obito was throwing a tantrum and wanted to run away to Disney Land because he couldn't handle reality.

He wanted to strip everyone of free will and didn't care how many people he had to kill in order to do it. Nothing justifies what Obito was doing, and that isn't peace, that's hiding inside a box because you are scared of the world.

Why should the Tailed Beasts be destroyed, they didn't do anything wrong, its humans who are using them that are causing problems.

TBH I don't see how mass murder of any kind can be "justified"...

On the other hand I don't see any problem with the fact that they don't have to be justified. I think it's more interesting when you can agree and disagree with characters instead of thinking/making yourself believe that everything they do is right, or at least their reasoning is.
